If the act makes it past the governor's desk, then it is enacted!
Acts (and bills) usually contain an effective date, which tells when the laws will change.
- The next time the general statutes are revised, the changes enacted are codified.
Regardless of whether the act is actually codified yet, once the effective date passes, it becomes law.
